The “More Moisturizer” Trap
Dry skin is easy to recognize. It may feel tight after cleansing. Makeup settles into fine lines. Your arms and legs look dull or crepey. Rough areas return only hours after applying lotion.
So you apply more moisturizer. Your skin feels soft for a while—but by the end of the day, the dryness is back.
Age, sun exposure, harsh cleansers, air conditioning, seasonal weather and environmental stress can all leave skin feeling more fragile, less supple and increasingly difficult to comfort.
A more complete moisturizer should do more than leave a temporary layer on the surface.
It should help attract moisture, reduce moisture loss, replenish skin-softening lipids and support a smoother, healthier-looking texture with consistent use.
